This rental car experience w/ Enterprise was a surprise & not a great one. I typically rent at airports but this time I needed a car for a business trip to Nashville. I rented days in advance & when I got to the rental office at 8 a.m. there was only 1 car available and it was a pickup truck - a vehicle I did not request or want. The manager was extremely nice and called 2 other locations to find a car for me. The 2nd location had a car but was 10 minutes in the opposite direction of where I needed to go. I was already 45 minutes behind schedule & at that point I needed to get on the road for my meeting. The nicest young woman drove me to the location and they had everything ready when I walked in. I believe this was due to the nice manager at the original location. I was happy to have a car but disappointed that the car smelled like cigarette smoke. Once I got on the road the tired gauge showed the right rear tired was low by 8 lbs. Not a great rental experience this time but I will continue to rent from Enterprise as this is the only time there have been issues. I do want to stress the manager & people at this Poplar location were so nice and helpful in a difficult situation. And the person who helped me at the Tillman location was also nice & helpful.

Awesome customer service. I had a car in minutes even without a reservation. Prices are still fine; take your own car insurance and pay with credit card to avoid rental insurance fees.
