The Memphis, Light, Gas, & Water (MLGW) Board and the Memphis City Council have the power to make a generational impact on Memphis, Tennessee, and the nation's power supply. Right now, the MLGW Board is weighing whether to continue buying electricity from the Tennessee Valley Authority, or to go elsewhere for power. Because this decision will have long-lasting effects, the MLGW Board and City Council must use their current position to ensure Memphis families are getting the most out of the billions of dollars we spend on power.
